RECYCLE ANN ARBOR REBRAND

Recycle Ann Arbor’s brand should be modern and unique, and portray the organization’s ideals of innovation, environmentalism, and community. The new branding will also maintain an element of simplicity that can easily be replicated in promotional material, while still preserving some element of familiarity and comfort. 

RECYCLE ANN ARBOR ORIGINAL BRAND IMAGE

The current branding has existed since Recycle Ann Arbor's founding in 1977, and feels a little outdated, especially as Ann Arbor's population gets increasingly youthful with college students and young families. There is also no formal brand guide

The original logo is very busy and contains the classic tripple reduce, reuse, recycle arrows alongside other organization information. The new logo should be simple but still reflect the three R's.

The colors are a blue and green combination very reminiscent of nature and environmentalism. However, the specific tones are slightly dull. The new colors brighten the color palette while maintaining the symbolic blue green color scheme.
